The Guardian

The Guardian is a single-player, character-driven stylized 3D adventure about the cycle of life and the bond between two characters. Inspired by the works of Fumito Ueda, it tells the story of a stoic protector guiding a fragile child to a distant mountain temple in order for the child to become a guardian as well and continue the cycle. At its heart, the game is about building an emotional connection with a companion that feels alive, a responsive AI character that reacts, helps, and even takes care of the player in a very parental way.
